Who I am
Vestige Furniture Studio is led by Bradlyn Zimmerman, a lifelong woodworker. We specialize in Solid Wood Furniture, building it from premium, hand-selected wood, crafting furniture that carries a story and is an experience. Each table is handcrafted by me, a single maker to client. Working with homeowners, designers, builders, and architects, we create refined Furniture to add feeling and value to every room they grace.
Raised in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Bradlyn grew up building traditional Windsor furniture alongside his father, Tim, an experience that shaped his respect for craftsmanship, integrity, and a working-with-your-hands way of life. Bradlyn still collaborates with his dad on select projects, continuing a generational tradition of craftsmanship.
Bradlyn is married to his wife, Sharonda, from Washington State. Her deep appreciation of natural beauty has been shaped by the forests, coastlines, and mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Together they blend East Coast roots and craftsmanship, with a PNW beauty- an influence that shows up in the organic feel of Vestige’s work.
My Beginning
As a student, Bradlyn spent his free time turning bowls and cups, selling them to friends and discovering early on the joy of creating meaningful wood objects. That passion evolved over time and eventually grew into “TheOleWoodshack” (the former name of Vestige Furniture Studio), where side projects turned into custom furniture and ultimately, a focused dedication to building custom tables.
Vestige Furniture Studio represents the evolution of that journey. The name “Vestige” reflects the belief that each table is a preserved piece of something before- a living tree transformed into a functional heirloom. The word “Studio” speaks to the personal, one-on-one nature of the work; this is not a factory, but a space where each piece is designed and built by a single maker.
Vestige Furniture Studio is a Christian-led company, guided by values of stewardship, honesty, and integrity. Every table is built to honor the natural beauty of the wood and to last for generations.

My name is Bradlyn Zimmerman, and I am the maker behind Vestige Furniture Studio.
I’ve spent my life working with wood - learning early on that good work takes patience and care. Those values were shaped by my upbringing and my faith.
Vestige Furniture Studio is a Christian-led company, and the principles of stewardship, honesty, and integrity guide our work. We believe creation itself is intentional and beautiful, and the wood we work with is a reflection of God’s handiwork. Our role is not to overpower that beauty, but to reveal it.
When I select wood, I do so with respect for where it came from and what it can become. When I build a table, I’m thinking not just about function but about longevity - creating something that will gather people, hold stories, and live on well beyond us.
