Live Edge Furniture is made from a slice taken from a tree, the natural edges of the tree are not cut, this give each live edge table a unique design according to how the tree grew!

We start with a conversation. We find out what your vision is, what your needs are for this piece, wood species, or tones that stand out at first, rough dimensions, a basic overview of the project. By filling out our “Free Custom Build” form, it helps show you available options as we start the process. With this info, I will work on your estimate and send that over to you within 48 hours.

After you receive your estimate and are ready to move forward, we have a phone/video call to talk through your ideas, the space in more detail, the specific materials you’re drawn to, and how you want the piece to feel and function. This is where we ask questions, share ideas, and make sure we’re aligned in detail before moving forward. No sketching yet, just a focused conversation to define direction and possibilities.

Once the direction is clear, we move into the design and material selection phase. A small refundable deposit begins this step.

Next I start sourcing potential slabs, refining the design, and creating a shop drawing so you can envision, specific wood, slabs or other details on your final piece. Once the design and slabs are approved, an additional deposit is collected, materials are ordered, and the build begins.

Once the materials arrive, the order is added to our queue. Then the piece is built by hand, by me, in our studio. Every cut, joint, and detail is done with precision and intention. You’ll receive progress updates along the way so you can see the transformation from raw material to finished piece. We finalize any other small details together as the piece takes shape. 

Once the piece is completed, we will schedule delivery, whether that is personally delivering it, hours from us, or shipping it across the country.

We love to work with clients, from homeowners to interior designers, architects, and more. Our style and uncompromising commitment to using high-quality woods that have met rigorous drying and milling standards may not be a fit for everyone. Our goal is to make furniture to last generations and return furniture to heirloom pieces, not recyclable products.

With this in mind, if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind piece, made with care, attention to detail, and emphasis on quality, I think we would be a great fit, but if not, I am happy to refer you to someone who better fits your needs.

Yes, we offer complimentary delivery within 5 hours of our shop. We do offer delivery beyond this area for an additional delivery charge.

How does it work

After your piece is finished, we will schedule a delivery day, a 3-hour time window that works with both of our schedules, and we will send you text updates the day of to give you an exact ETA.  For projects within our delivery range, full white-glove delivery is included, from moving the furniture inside and any final setup.

What if I am not close enough for delivery?

No problem! We ship our commission pieces across the USA and can coordinate for international shipping as well. All shipments are fully insured for your peace of mind and mine. Your piece will be delivered to your address, with installation arranged at your discretion.

For a more seamless experience, we can coordinate with a trusted white-glove service for final delivery and in-home installation. For specific projects or client requests, when available, I will travel to the delivery location for an additional cost, to meet you and have hands-on knowledge to help with the install.

Although we test and use the best finishes available, it is still important that you care for your table. However, as with any fine furniture, thoughtful care is recommended.

We encourage the use of coasters and trivets to protect the surface from heat, moisture, and everyday wear. Small considerations like this help preserve the integrity of the piece and ensure it can be enjoyed for generations.

What Is Covered

Craftsmanship & Structure
We stand behind the structural integrity of every piece, including joinery, hardware, and overall construction.

Materials
We cover defects in the wood itself, including abnormal warping under proper, stable conditions.

Finish
Our finishes are designed for durability. We cover issues such as peeling, blistering, or significant failure under normal use and proper care.

What Is Not Covered

Natural Wear
Over time, furniture develops character. Surface marks, light scratches, dents, fading from sunlight, and water rings from improper care are considered part of normal use.

Environmental Conditions
Wood is a natural material and responds to its environment. Damage caused by humidity, dryness, temperature fluctuations, water exposure, fire, or harsh chemicals is not covered.

Improper Use
Damage resulting from misuse, excessive weight, unintended use, or failure to follow care guidelines is not covered.

Unauthorized Work
Any modifications or repairs performed outside of Vestige Furniture Studio will void this warranty.

Movement in Wood
Minor movement, including small cracks or checking, can occur as wood responds to its environment. While we take every precaution to minimize this, it is a natural characteristic and not considered a defect.
