It defines the stance, balance, and quiet presence of the piece.
At Vestige Furniture Studio, each base is considered in relation to the top it carries — its scale, material, edge detail, grain movement, and intended space. The examples shown here are not a fixed catalog, but a starting point for conversation. They represent a small selection of the forms we can build, adapt, and refine.
Some designs are minimal and architectural. Others are sculptural, traditional, or rooted in visible joinery. Each can be adjusted in proportion, material, finish, and detail to suit the final table.
Our wood bases are handcrafted in-house by Vestige Furniture Studio, with attention to grain, joinery, and long-term durability. Our metal bases are custom fabricated by a trusted fabrication partner and finished to complement the design of the table.
